Lessons Learned – Inside the City of Dallas Ransomware Attack

Join us for lunch and an insightful discussion on the ransomware attack on the City of Dallas.

Dr. Brian Gardner, CTO/CISO for the City of Dallas, will discuss the May 3rd, 2023, Ransomware attack on the city and the aftermath, and how his team observed, restored, and recovered from the incident over the next months. This will be the first full public discussion on the attack in full and Dr. Gardner will take questions and discuss the lessons learned and steps the city is taking to move forward for the future.

This event will be open to interested parties (3 per institution due to capacity) from municipalities, counties, and school districts via this invite only. We kindly ask those who will be attending to RSVP for an accurate count due to space and for lunch preparation.
